| I developed InstaBase with two things in mind: Intelligence and Simplicity. It did very well as Ezenet's first PC/NET software release, and using its momentum helped take the company public on the CDNX. But being short-sighted and thinking only of the BIG picture (while stepping on everyone's toes), that company (NOW PUBLIC) discontinued the production of InstaBase. In early 2001, also discontinued, was the support provided for loyal users. My experience has forced me to understand that trusting others with your own creation can have costs beyond comprehension. But the experience itself has been priceless. For these reasons, I continue to focus on developing "simply intelligent applications" . I realize that personal, moral and ethical standards are much easier to uphold within small private companies, and success is just as attainable. I have learned many things and seen many things that will last more than a lifetime. So if you are reading this, here is my message to you: If you have a company or product and are even thinking of going public, consult me first. I will be releasing many user-friendly apps though my PRIVATE company "telAngelix Communications Inc". In fact by the time you are reading this some might have been released. My first priority is development of a pseudo InstaBase application. (Of course) MANY MANY times better, with a full compatibility and decent support and friendly developer and user channel. |
