I have been obsest with this subject, since I remember. I guess some of us want to create that controlled environment. :-)

I have completed advance studies in AI (1996 & 1999) at MIT , covering Humanoid Roboticsand and Cognitive Robotics and Emboddied intelligence

I was furtunate to be student of Rodney Brooks: Fujitsu Professor of Computer Science and Engineering (EECS Dept), and Director of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Rodney and turned the fields of AI on its head by introduceing the behavior-based approch to robotics.

His new book (Camhrian Inteligence) just came out (MIT PRESS), so if you are a fan of AI, you should go and get yourself a copy.
