If I hadn't known MARCH 20th was a red day, I wouldn't have been able to recognize all the signs trying to PROTECT ME that day. Scheduled to slide across the top of a rainforest in PANAMA along the canopy (cable wires) I was sure my daily HORROSCOPE was right and it was my LUCKIEST DAY!
But when our tour bus blew a wheel en route, we continued. I started to wonder if maybe it really was a RED DAY? When we got into the rainforest and it started to rain (for the first time in 3 months) I prayed for it to continue. When our Guide said she would wait 20 more minutes for the rain to stop before cancelling the tour, we were already to call it a day. Convinced it would be a "TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE" for us to attempt the canopy, she admitted she was an EXPERT and it scared her. Telling us she didn't want the memory to be one full of fear, she REFUSED to OBEY her Boss who ordered her to continue with the tour. So we trudged back and this WARRIOR was followed by her SUPPORTERS to avoid what would have been an experience best AVOIDED as RED indicated.
(Which is why March 20th was really our luckiest day....because it may have been our WORST DAY if we hadn't been so AWARE)

I remember telling myself September 29th was a red day as I sped down the highway. But when my white Honda merged from a disappearing lane at the last second, the last thing I expected was for that car in front of me to slam on his brakes - just long enough to force me to the left - to avoid crashing into the back of him. NO TIME to check my mirrors I found my wheels locked as I crossed 3 lanes left (without hitting a single passing car) into the ditch. As my tires blew I struggled with the steering wheel to keep the car upright.
