Creating Labels with KazTrix
Although there is no specific label function within KazTrix 4.0 Web-Ready, it is very easy to create labels using exported KazTrix information and the label function of many common software applications.
For example:
It is very easy to produce labels from KazTrix if you have access to some common software. You need a version of Microsoft Word 6.0 or above (or another Word Processor that can import various spreadsheet or database files). Follow these quick steps:
a) Export your data from KazTrix in Microsoft Excel format (see our Import and Export section if you are not sure how to do this).
b) Microsoft Word can easily work with Excel files. Using Microsoft Word's "Mail Merge" function, create your mailing labels (see Microsoft Word's "help" for instructions for this easy task).
c) Enjoy your great new labels. Other types of merged fields can be used in word processing documents in the same fashion.
Note that many other word processors should also be able to handle the Excel (or perhaps ".txt") format for similar label making purposes.
