KazTrix allows you to search your database in two different ways.
Simple Search
The search feature in KazTrix 1.0 now allows you to search through all fields in your database.
The Improved Search is a new feature of the stand-alone application, and is a much nicer and easier to use interface. Simply use the drop-down box to select which field to search through, and enter the data to search for in the “for” box. The Search feature is no longer limited to the first 17 fields, now you can search through ALL the fields of your database!
This search method allows for "Wildcard Searching" which means that if you enter the letters ock you will get results for all the words that contain these three letters in that order (ie. Rock, Rockfield, mock, docking, etc.).
Advanced Search
To perform a search on all of your fields and with more precise information filtering, you must use the Report Page of KazTrix.
To switch to the Report Page, simply click on the Report Tab.
