KazTrix 1.0 New Features

KazTrix version 1.0 contains many new features and improvements over the previous versions of KazTrix. They are listed below, along with a brief description of each new feature and improvement. For more details, simply click the links for a detailed description.

Compresses the size of your databases so they take up less room on your hard drive.

Publishing of GIF Files

KazTrix now supports the publishing of GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) picture files to the Internet.

Improved Picture Importing

Fixes picture importing problems with JPEG/JPG's and digital cameras.

KazTrix now supports a wider range of picture file formats, including GIF, bitmaps (BMP), Icons (ICO), Metafiles (WMF) and Enhanced Metafiles (EMF). The variety of JPEG headers that digital cameras use has been adjusted for.

Attach Multimedia Files

Supports popular multimedia file formats such as AVI, MPEG, MPG, and MOV. Now you can attach such multimedia files to your database!

Range Reporting Enabled

Reporting feature now allows you to search a range of data.

Improved KazTrix Web Wizard

New, improved, and more efficient Web Wizard gives you more options when publishing your online database.

Improved Search Feature

The search feature in KazTrix 1.0 now allows you to search through all fields in your database and is easier to use.

Template Wizard

Use a template to create many databases containing the same labels.

Events Alarm

This allows you to set and view events for the day. A handy alarm reminds you of appointments.

Improved On-line database (Java Applet)

Many new features have been added to the online database – table view of records, print records online, support for up to 95 fields, viewing of attached files and selectable background image.
