Step 4 - Format
In this step you select the format in which the report will be generated.
Your options are:
• Screen Preview
• NotePad (single record format)
• WordPad (rows/columns)
• Excel (spreadsheet - requires Microsoft Excel to be installed)
• HTML (auto table generator)
A. Screen Preview
This step will display the output in a row and column format on your screen.
B. Notepad (SIngle)
KazTrix will generate a report in Notepad, displaying each found record's information below the other.
C. WordPad (Rows/Columns)
This format generates a report that is displayed in WordPad as a tab-delimited text file. It consists of a series of Rows (that represent your records) and Columns (that represent your fields).
D. Microsoft Excel
When selecting this format, KazTrix opens your report results directly in Microsoft Excel which allows you to perform further formatting.
E. HTML
This format generates an HTML table of your database for use on the Internet.
