System Highlights

The unique design of the EZENETsoftware, allows our
package to efficiently support one branch or a large retail banking operation with hundreds of branches. A central customer information file links any number of accounts, loans and certificates held by a customer. Customer information can be accessed by name, account number, customer number, social insurance (security) number, plan number or postal (ZIP) code.

All updating is done on line and in real time. Transactions may be reviewed or reversed. Statements, cheques, certificates and tax receipts can all be printed over-the-counter. Prototype or default values can be set for all account types, allowing the opening of new accounts with minimal data entry. Static information is easily changed
on line. An audit trail of all changes is maintained by the system.

Account Types Supported

Savings, Chequing and Certificates in Canadian and U.S. currency. Accounts can be statement or passbook types, in bound or loose leaf format. Overdrafts are supported through either an overdraft limit or by joining a Line of Credit to aSavings or chequing account.

Registered Savings Accounts and Certificates (RSP, RIF, RESP), may be grouped by means of a plan number in order to create a consolidated statement. A customer may have any number of plans. Self Directed accounts, where assets invested in other institutions or stocks and mortgages can all be tied to
a self directed plan in order to produce a consolidated
customer statement. Loans, Fixed and Floating Rate,
Canadian and U.S. Currency, Lines of Credit and Letters of Credit are all supported. Loan payments may be debited from an account, by postdated cheque or electronically from other institutions. Mortgages with MBS and INVESTOR reports, with support for all compounding and payment frequencies.

Payments may be made from branch
accounts, postdated cheques or electronic clearing.

Automatic Daily Processing Functions

Transfers between Lines of Credit and Demand Accounts can be tailored to the customer's needs. Automatic cheque reconciliation of official cheque accounts from clearing entries. Clearing can be automated via tape or dial-up access to your host banking institution.

Automatic rollover of certificates, with either a guaranteed rate or the rate at redemption time. New terms may commence prior to maturity.

Automatic processing of postdated cheques and
deposits. Interest payments from certificates may be
deposited to accounts, electronically or via cheque.

Office Automation and Other Features

Spreadsheets / Word Processors / Miscellaneous

Data Analysis can be achieved, using spreadsheets in
conjunction with the adhoc query function enabling users to export required data from the data base and perform any standard spreadsheet operations.

Using this format, complex reports and graphs can easily be produced. Word Processing will also accommodate this type of function with the added ability of mailing lists, mailmerge form-letters,
newsletters, etc.

Mail

Access to the Standard UNIX and Integrated mail systems as well as Internet email.

Fax

Integrated Fax program which allows users to send and receive files/faxes from their terminals or PCs via a Host.

Supervision and Control

Supervisor override capability which allows the supervisor to remotely govern the users.
